Failure occurs because the you have not given yourself all the
skills needed to perform a particular skill... Occasional
Failures - Reinforce a success to yourself and also think which
mechanic "felt" different causing the failure... Constant
Failures - Set new goals for yourself. Constant failure occurs
because you do not have the skills needed to perform the action...
Game Failures - Concentrate on the your actions, not on the
play's outcome. Realize that it's natural to failure, without
failure you never know what to improve to make your play better.

Give Yourself Clear Messages
You must send clear, concise messages to yourself by always thinking
in the present tense. By giving clear and concise messages, your
mind knows exactly what is expected and your body will, more often
than not, give what is expected. You will begin believing and
knowing you can accomplish anything simply from the way you talk to
yourself.
Here's How to Think:
- "Feel my shoulder point toward the target." An
example of a clear , concise thought in the present tense.
"When I..." instead of "If I..." and "I
know..." instead of "I hope..."
"When I..." and "I know..." gives you a positive message that the
skill can be mastered. Note: Avoid thoughts like "try to..."
and "don't...", these phrases give you less than a clear
thought and goal.
