"Infielder to the Plate Drill
Goal: Teach infielder to make throws
to the plate.
Drill: With the entire infield in position, the coach
hits ground balls to each of the infielders using all the "Ground
Ball Options". The infielders catch the ball throwing as quickly as
possible to the plate. The catcher either makes a simulated tag or a
force play. The catcher then throws the ball back to the original
infielder covering their base.
